In this pages I will explain the "differences" between a good rug and another one... modern, antique or classical. I want to say you the things nobody says.

When we talk about contents in the "rugs world", they are taken from the usual pseudo-encyclopedia on origins, history, the various qualities, etc. We have put in the site three new pages in which we try to explain the differences among rugs that seem similar but entirely different.

The difference between classical rugs
between antique rugs
between modern rugs
The best thing for us that we want to propose our rugs with ethics, it would be that to find a client with the clear ideas on what he wants and on what we propose him.
Unfortunately it is not so, rather, the 99% of the people don't know well rugs, above all because of the bad information of foxy sellers, oriental and not, that have founded their sale system on real legalized frauds, also ruining the reputation of who wanted to honestly work. Television sales, fake auctions, clearance sales with on 50% and 70% discounts in shops that never close (care by real organizations with manpower, rugs and false publicity) create illusions to gain on the naivety of the potential client.
In the last decade many shops closed and this immorality moves to the web: we find sites with the same identical publicities that on were seen in the remained shops, against the people of any social or cultural level. I would want that the people thinking "to make a bargain" understood three essential rules:
  • The bargain is almost always made by the seller, sometimes if the sellers is honest this is made by two.
  • Who sells must gain: the rugs seller invests a notable capital, think about it.
  • To declare that a rug has a value of 1.000 and propose it to 300 it is a great falsity:
A seller like this can deserve your trust? I think of no.

If you see publicity as these below don't you have the doubt that it's
just a trick to make cash to your expenses?

If at the end a rug is sold to € 2.700,00 TVA included (whose tax base correspondent is  2.250,00 Euros) it means that, to cover the management and rug costs, the seller can't buy it to more than 1.000,00-1.200,00 € tax base; otherwise he sells at a discount. With this system sale the client deludes him to purchased a rug of a value of € 9.000,00 with the a price of € 2.700,00.  Think about this: if a dealer purchases a rug paying it € 1.200,00 this can ever be worth in the public market € 9.000,00: 8 times more?

Look at this label we found on a client rug: it is a new production Ziegler rug with size of 299 x 201 cm. (6 metre squares), discounted of 50%, departing from the "cheap" value of 6.000,00 Euros to arrive to 3.000,00  and I assure you that it is not a stupendous piece.

Click here and you will see the prices of our beautiful Ziegler,
none overcomes the 2.250,00 euros
Do you understand because we don't make this absurd discounts politic?

This is the reason for which we will never adopt these methods: we prefer to sell less rugs but with dignity.
In these pages I want to talk about the differences among rugs that are sold as if they were equal but that in reality they are different, in the hope of you go in some shops you will look more to the substance that to the fake discount. To make easier the understanding we divided the subject matter in three groups.
