Aafshary old Rug knotted in the first half of XXth. Cent. in perfect state of conservation and it's a piece rather elegant, light and soft in comparison to the average. The weft is pass after every line of knots (two for Kutlù), natural dye and symmetrical knot Ghiordes. Afshary is a tribe mid-nomad Turkmen native of the Azerbaijan deported in the XVIth. century in the region between Kirman and Shiraz. They live in the simple tents or in the primitive clay huts.
