Tra tutti i Vostri meravigliosi persiani antichi (ai quali preferisco di gran lunga i veri caucasici), ho individuato, da tantissimo tempo, uno splendido e rarissimo esemplare che devo ancora esaminare da vicino. Il Sig. Giovanni lo sa benissimo e, giustamente o no, stenta a privarsene conoscendo assai bene l’origine e quindi la rarit?? di quest’opera d’arte del XIX secolo che sembra essere stata annodata IERI dalle magiche mani di un grande “ustad” di “atelier” di citt?. Invece?? una fantastica creazione di un popolo seminomade ! Impianto strepitoso, ricco di tutti i colori della natura, IMPERDIBILE. Cari amici collezionisti, spero comprendiate il mio riserbo riguardo al suo numero di catalogo…..ma il Sig. Giovanni Vi aiuter?? cos? mi metter? l’anima in pace per sempre: PERDUTO !

I have just received an antique Tibetan saddle carpet cm. 114 x 57. For job reason I have been different times in Tibet and in Mongolia. In the free time I have devoted to the search of this fascinating typology of knotted: I have found solo torn or a little anymore. I made a trip from Rome to Padua, for enter again in the antique miracles of Giovanni Bersanetti. Stupendous rugs: I believe that there is really a high quality that cannot be found or almost. Result: I come back home with a great “Kazak Bordjalou” of the second half XIXth. century simple splendid: full pile, a patina uproarious, soft and malleable as a cashmere cover. A warm reception I would always say familiar. A sincere advice to my strangers collectors “friends”: don?t go too far, here there?s touchable quality: always! and money is not thrown to the wind.
