Afshar Antique Rug - Amazing rug knotted toward the end of XIXth. Cent in perfect state of conservation. It's a rather elegant piece in comparison to the average. The weft is pass after every line of knots (two for Kutlù), natural dye and symmetrical knot Ghiordes. Afshary is a tribe mid-nomad Turkmen native of the Azerbaijan deported in the XVIth. century in the region between Kirman and Shiraz. They live in the simple tents or in the primitive clay huts.
