The LILIAN RUGS was made by knotters whose progenitors were deported by the Caucasus in the XVIIth. century, but surprisingly the patterns, superbous and floral, don't allow to suppose its origin. They characterize for the bright colors and for the big quantity of flowers and leaves that meet to form fan patterns. This is a piece of high epoch (end 19th. cent.) exceptional and incredibly well preserved, without restorations and all full pile, so light to seem a textile.
