This beautiful piece, coming from Isfahan, city of central Iran, has a dense knotting, with woof and warp in silk. Also part of the flowers is completely in silk. It is not a carpet of new production, but it's 30 or 40 years old. In this short period of time the production is changed: less colors are used and overall they are more commercial and rigid.
