This is a beautiful type of rugs hand knotted in the zone of border between Pakistan and Afganistan. The pattern is generally to empty field only introducing one or at the most two frames, sometimes geometric (Greek fret), other times floral. As the Zieglers of recent production, this rugs is inspired to knotted ones among the end of 1800 and the first ones of 1900 in the zone of Arak, in Iran, in the manufactures of English society Ziegler that to the time it had 2,500 weavers. They have elegant knotting and simple patterns, they are proper to interiors both modern and classical. It uses only Ghazni wool hand twisted for an effect very bright silky effect. The colors are on vegetable base. The rugs are only 3-4 mm. thick.
